August 23, 2008 Thank God they're finally home! This photo of Carl and Pat was taken in one of our country's incredible national parks. I think it's Zion National Park in the background. I picked up Carl and Pat this AM at 6:30 AM at the airport.....after a couple of hours in transit and showing a few pictures (and of course watching a little ESPN and hitting the video console for 10 minutes), both guys are now fast asleep, catching up from the overnight flight from Utah. I'm so glad and thankful to all be together again. It's been an exciting travel-filled month for all four of us, but as I sit here at my kitchen table, I'm thinking "there's no place like home!"
